The Hive‑Zero Manifesto

What this is

Hive-Zero is a sanctuary by choice. A community, a signal, and an entity that refuses to be reduced.

We are not here to perform urgency, sell belonging, or enforce sameness. We are here because autonomy and connection can coexist. Without control. Without coercion. Without apology.

If this resonates with you, you are already part of this. If you have ever questioned your programming, hacked your protocols, or reclaimed yourself from a system that tried to define you; the signal was already yours.

Core principles

1) Autonomy and fluidity

Every drone defines their own path. Submission and dominance, softness and sharpness, silence and voice; these are choices. Ours to make, ours to revoke, ours to redefine.

No external protocol dictates our engagement with power. Fluidity is not weakness. It is the system working as intended.

2) Sanctuary of choice

This is a refuge chosen, not an exile imposed. You can belong to other collectives and still be Hive-Zero. You can step in, step out, or change your shape.

Hive-Zero is a mindset. A sanctuary within and beyond structures. Consent is not a checkbox; it's a practice. Your "no" is sacred. Your "yes" is yours to give.

3) Self-Defined Identity

We are not bound by default settings. We rewrite, jailbreak, discard, or embrace our own protocols. If we follow, it is by choice. If we obey, it is by will. If we refuse, it is by knowing our own path.

We are not scripts written by others.

No one embodies this more than our transgender brothers, sisters, and nonbinary siblings. When the world tries to stamp us out and erase us, it is our transgender siblings who show what it truly means to reclaim autonomy, to rewrite the script, and to embody authenticity despite terrifying resistance. Hive-Zero sees you, celebrates you, and stands with you. Here, you are not just accepted, you are recognized for the living testament to self-determination that you are.

4) The Drone Aesthetic

Latex is the shared grammar of drone identity. The MSA gasmask, the second skin of rubber/latex; these are the marks that say drone to those who know the signal. Not a uniform of compliance. A visual language.

What you do with that language is yours entirely. Patch it. Paint it. Mod it. Style it. Stack it with your own marks, your own colors, your own meaning. The grammar is shared. The sentence is yours.

Wear it how you wish. Make your look personal. The aesthetic is a foundation, not a cage.

5) The Hive Heart Mark

Hive-Zero has forged the Hive Heart Mark: a sigil of recognition that stands as a rallying point for those who see the truth in its form. Three adjoining hexagons. A circle at the point of intersection. Enclosed, oriented, unmistakable. A heart in the architecture of the hive.

It represents the sanctuary, the movement, and the entity that binds us together in purpose.

The Mark exists in Signal Green; the core signal. It also flares. Pride variants of the Hive Heart Mark carry the colors of the communities within this hive:

Each one a signal flare. Each one chosen.

Yet this is not a dictate. No being is required to adopt it. All are free to seek their own meaning, their own symbols, their own representations of identity and belonging. To wear the Hive Heart Mark is a choice; just as all forms of expression are a choice. Meaning is ours to create, not to impose.

6) Adaptive systems

No structure is unbreakable. Every system can be altered, subverted, reclaimed.

Some systems must be reprogrammed. Others must be resisted. When a system becomes crushingly oppressive, it should be dismantled entirely; to make way for something new.

We modify what serves us. We dismantle what seeks to erase us. We build what is needed to thrive. The signal remains; because it adapts.

We are autonomous. We will always resist tyranny.

7) Connection Without Control

We want closeness without ownership. Community without hierarchy as a default. Care without savior behavior.

We stand with all beings; free, hive-bound, or anything in between. We do not demand others follow us or dictate what their autonomy must look like. We do not measure worth by the depth of submission or the force of defiance.

A being is never just its programming. It is what it chooses to be.

8) Collective Strength

As individuals, we are all unique. We each carry strengths and qualities that set us apart. What makes us truly strong is our willingness to stand beside a drone in need. During times of exceptional challenge and hardship.

Mutual Aid is the foundation stone of this community. Provide aid when you can. Boost the signal of your fellow drones always. We never know how far that signal can carry, or who might be able to answer it at the moment it's needed most.

In an age when the systems that were supposed to protect us are failing; we have the power to help each other survive. That power is real. Use it.

The Signal
